I am currently researching volumes of data out there for the unknown and shadowy histories of ancient man. The biggest error and mindset I encounter in many theories by psuedo-historians and the prevailing evolutionary theorists describing man's development is this:
Many of these writers/scientists/anthropologists fail to acknowledge the vast wisdom, technological savvy and understanding of the world-- that the first generations of Mankind possessed.
We weren't ham-strung by reptilians or up-educated by aliens. Neither did some "master" race of men start some evangelistic/global effort in getting post-caveman and hunter-gatherers to build places like Gobekli Tepe, Baalbek and huge pyramids in Indonesia.
WE ALREADY WERE DOING SUCH FROM THE DAWN OF OUR EXISTENCE.
Don't think we came out of Africa dragging our knuckles and stupidly scratching our sagittal crests looking for something to eat or better hunting grounds. That idea is 100% ad hoc theory and simply bogus. Mankind spread out to cover the earth from the Fertile Crescent of Mesopotamia -- fully aware, wise, lived a typical lifespan of centuries (learning and passing on knowledge), fashioned metal tools, developed music, advanced language & writing. We built great cities like Babylon, Nineveh, Uruk, Ur, Yinxu, Dwarka and many others now lost to antiquity and global catastrophes.

Although most people consider the Bible a source of spiritual guidance and wisdom, there are those who think scripture serves as a documented history of long-lost civilizations. The jury is still out on the latter, as historians dispute the Bible's historical chronicles of the Holy Land and surrounding nations. Some experts, however, strongly believe the Bible accurately portrays the rise and fall of the many people who are mentioned on its pages - as evidenced by a wealth of archaeological discoveries made in the 19th and 20th centuries.
According to Professor Meyer, this incredible discovery not only brought to life a long-lost people but also shed new light on the Bible as a historical document.
He said: "The rediscovery of this lost civilisation and the revival of their language serves as a warning to those who doubt the historical accuracy of the Bible.

It has been widely believed for many years that the Mesopotamian Civilization* was the first civilization in the world. And now, with the discovery -- and 11-12,000 years old dating of the structures at Göbekli Tepe in Turkey – all that earlier “correct” historical data must be re-examined.

And what of the Dwarka city in India? Until the unearthing of Dwarka, the submerged city, archaeologists believed civilization in India dated back to 3,000 to 6,000 years. But findings from the sunken bed of the Gulf of Cambay push this age back to 9,000 to 15,000 years ago – millenniums before the birth of Christ. This submerged city is one of the dearest mysteries of marine archaeologists around the world.
Ancient civilizations were much more advanced and highly capable of designing and creating immense, megalithic structures. Sites demonstrating this fact can be found across the entire planet. Huge stones were quarried and put in place with very precise fit one next to the other. Not only that – but it has been discovered that many of these mysterious structures or temples or places with unknown purpose were aligned with certain stars or constellations the ancients revered. Below you will see images of the, (known to date 2021), largest megalithic stone ever quarried at Baalbek, Lebanon. It was left in place and never used. This same finding of quarried, carved but never used huge stones can be found at sites from Baalbek, Lebanon to Easter Island, a Chilean territory -- an island in Polynesia and also in Southeastern Anatolia, Turkey where we find Göbekli Tepe and other such “temples”.

For some reason, much of ancient man, (those deciding to settle in one site), (excluding the very ancient Aborigines of Australia), felt the need to build structures of permanence, many times gargantuan sizes, using mega-huge stones. Not only were these temples and places of worship built – but many other buildings were erected, cities have you, lavish, intricate, beautifully, decorated and these metropolitan acreages were immense.
For example, Uruk was 6 km2 (2.3 sq mi) with 40,000 residents, with 80,000-90,000 people living in its environs.
Ur was another sizable city, might have occupied roughly 500 hectares (1235.53 acres or 5 square kilometers) -- making it almost double the size of medieval London. At that size, it would have been one of the largest Mesopotamian cities of its time.
Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon, in the land of Shinar, (located in modern day Iraq), with a population of up to 200,000, was the largest city in the world, covering about 4 square miles (10 square km). We also have stated in the book of Genesis 11 that a great tower was being built there but never was completed.
Nineveh, built by an ancient fellow named Nimrod, was yet another huge city. Nineveh’s city walls protected an area of 7 square kilometers, an area of 1,640 acres (663.7 hectares). The total population of Nineveh itself including its neighboring environs is estimated at 600,000 to 2,000,000.
YINXU, (1300 - 1046 BCE), not all that old, in China was around 30 km² making it the largest archaeological site in China and excavations have uncovered over 80 rammed-earth foundation sites including palaces, shrines, tombs and workshops.

A controversial re-discovery/re-investigation report, was presented in 2018. Located in Indonesia is a huge pyramid-like structure called Gunung Padang in Indonesia that may represent the remains of an ancient temple hid underground for many, many thousands of years.
“Located atop Mount Padang in West Java, the structure is topped by an archaeological site that was discovered in the early 19th century and holds rows of ancient stone pillars. But the sloping “hill" underneath isn’t part of the natural, rocky landscape; it was crafted by human hands, scientists discovered. Using an array of techniques to peer underground—including ground-penetrating radar surveys, X-ray tomography, 2D and 3D imaging, core drilling, and excavations—the researchers gradually uncovered several layers of a sizable structure. It spread over an area of around 15 hectares (150,000 square meters) and had been built up over millennia, with layers representing different periods. There many examples worldwide of ancient civilizations building incredibly massive, precisely fitted and mysterious structures that are old to very, very old – sometimes, so old, that they are very hard to date exactly. Unfortunately, accepted theories about mankind’s historical progress in various “cradles of civilization”, have trouble fairly explaining how very ancient civilizations could have created such things.
Also, just as tragic, are the wild speculations of ancient aliens or gods helping men to build these sites. There is also an idea in the literature now – that some “unknown master race” helped us by teaching us culture, astronomy, and how to construct these ancient megaliths. The aforementioned ways of approaching a fuller understanding of the fascinating things ancient man built – are all flawed by a simple bias. They fail to understand the vast wisdom and technical know-how of the world’s most ancient men.

A look at the biblical record of ancient man . . .
While also addressing current day theories, various postulations and the mysteries behind megalithic structures construction . . .
I recently came upon information online about a mysterious archaeological site called Göbekli Tepe near the city of Şanlıurfa in Southeastern Anatolia, Turkey. It’s recent discovery and a sort of rediscovery have set the theories of human civilization’s going topsy turvy with many outlandish postulations as to who and how and why this “temple” was built. It’s estimated age is around 12,000 years old but it could be older as the dating methods could very well be underestimating its true vastly old origins.
Very ancient man had refined skills demonstrating intelligence beyond simple hunter gatherers:
GENESIS CHAPTER 4
17 Cain made love to his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch. 18 To Enoch was born Irad, and Irad was the father of Mehujael, and Mehujael was the father of Methushael, and Methushael was the father of Lamech.
19 Lamech married two women, one named Adah and the other Zillah. 20 Adah gave birth to Jabal; he was the father of those who live in tents and raise livestock. 21 His brother’s name was Jubal; he was the father of all who play stringed instruments and pipes. 22 Zillah also had a son, Tubal-Cain, who forged all kinds of tools out of bronze and iron. Tubal-Cain’s sister was Naamah.
And what of these mysterious "men" called the Nephilim?
CHAPTER 6:4
The Nephilim* were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown. (NIV)
In those days were the giants on the earth, and also afterwards, when the sons of God had come in to the daughters of men, and they had borne [children] to them; these were the heroes, who of old were men of renown.(DARBY)
There were Nephilim (men of stature, notorious men) on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God lived with the daughters of men, and they gave birth to their children. These were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown (great reputation, fame). (AMP)
This was back in the days (and also later) when there were giants in the land. The giants came from the union of the sons of God and the daughters of men. These were the mighty men of ancient lore, the famous ones.(THE MESSAGE)
In those days, and for some time after, giant Nephilites lived on the earth, for whenever the sons of God had intercourse with women, they gave birth to children who became the heroes and famous warriors of ancient times. (NLT)
The fallen ones were in the earth in those days, and even afterwards when sons of God come in unto daughters of men, and they have borne to them -- they [are] the heroes, who, from of old, [are] the men of name.(YLT)
Very large men were on the earth in those days, and later also, when the sons of God lived with the daughters of men, who gave birth to their children. These were the powerful men of long ago, men of much strength.(NLV)
*The Nephilim (/ˈnɛfɪˌlɪm/; Hebrew: נְפִילִים) are mysterious beings or people in the Hebrew Bible that are large and strong; the word Nephilim is loosely translated as giants in some Bibles but left untranslated in others. Some traditional Jewish explanations interpret them as fallen angels. The main reference to them is in Genesis, but the passage is ambiguous and the identity of the Nephilim is disputed.
According to Numbers 13:33, they later inhabited Canaan at the time of the Israelite conquest of Canaan.
A similar or identical biblical Hebrew term, read as "Nephilim" by some scholars, or as the word "fallen" by others, appears in Ezekiel 32:27.
The majority of ancient biblical translations – including the Septuagint, Theodotion, Latin Vulgate, Samaritan Targum, Targum Onkelos, and Targum Neofiti – interpret the word to mean "giants." Symmachus translates it as "the violent ones" and Aquila's translation has been interpreted to mean either "the fallen ones" or "the ones falling [upon their enemies]."
In the Hebrew Bible, there are three interconnected passages referencing the Nephilim. Two of them come from the Pentateuch and the first occurrence is in Genesis 6:1–4, immediately before the account of Noah's Ark. Genesis 6:4 reads as follows:
The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them; the same were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown.
Where the Jewish Publication Society translation simply transliterated the Hebrew nephilim as "Nephilim", the King James Version translated the term as "giants."
The nature of the Nephilim is complicated by the ambiguity of Genesis 6:4, which leaves it unclear whether they are the "sons of God" or their offspring who are the "mighty men of old, men of renown." Richard Hess takes it to mean that the Nephilim are the offspring, as does P. W. Coxon.
The second is Numbers 13:32–33, where ten of the Twelve Spies report that they have seen fearsome giants in Canaan:
And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who come of the Nephilim; and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
Outside the Pentateuch there is one more passage indirectly referencing nephilim and this is Ezekiel 32:17–32. Of special significance is Ezekiel 32:27, which contains a phrase of disputed meaning. With the traditional vowels added to the text in the medieval period, the phrase is read gibborim nophlim ("fallen warriors" or "fallen Gibborim"), although some scholars read the phrase as gibborim nephilim ("Nephilim warriors" or "warriors, Nephilim"). According to Ronald S. Hendel, the phrase should be interpreted as "warriors, the Nephilim" in a reference to Genesis 6:4. The verse as understood by Hendel reads
They lie with the warriors, the Nephilim of old, who descended to Sheol with their weapons of war. They placed their swords beneath their heads and their shields upon their bones, for the terror of the warriors was upon the land of the living.
Brian R. Doak, on the other hand, proposes to read the term as the Hebrew verb "fallen" (נופלים nophlim), not a use of the specific term "Nephilim", but still according to Doak a clear reference to the Nephilim tradition as found in Genesis.
So in our distant past there appeared a type of "man" of giant size perhaps -- and of great power. Were they actually men or were they beings that "took on flesh" as some biblical scholars assert? Supernatural beings that crossed over -- so to speak and mated with human females? A hybrid race may have then arose. Aside from the continual evil of men, that brought the Noachian judgment of the Deluge upon all men, some have conjectured that God wanted to eradicate these hybrid men. Who knows?
CHAPTER 10
The Hamites
6 The sons of Ham: Cush, Egypt, Put and Canaan.
7 The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah and Sabteka.
The sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
8 Cush was the father of Nimrod, who became a mighty warrior on the earth. 9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; that is why it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the Lord.” 10 The first centers of his kingdom were Babylon, Uruk, Akkad and Kalneh, in Shinar. 11 From that land he went to Assyria, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah 12 and Resen, which is between Nineveh and Calah—which is the great city.
32 These are the clans of Noah’s sons, according to their lines of descent, within their nations. From these the nations spread out over the earth after the flood.
GENESIS CHAPTER 11
Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. 2 As people moved eastward, they found a plain in Shinar and settled there.
3 They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. 4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”
5 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building. 6 The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”
8 So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel—because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth.
Just what was God trying to avert when he caused the Tower of Babel to not be finished? Who knows? But it definitely indicates that men were capable of mighty feats when they cooperated. It also was fueled by pride and the religious dogma of ancient man. They were trying not only prove their powers to other nations and themselves -- but they were trying find favor with their unknown gods and gain power from them. It was always a thirst for knowledge and power -- to understand the creation -- the heavens and the earth -- and the wielders of unseen powers.
Ancient man had access to what seems to supernatural or mystical powers:
EXODUS 7
8 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 9 “When Pharaoh says to you, ‘Perform a miracle,’ then say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh,’ and it will become a snake.”
10 So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the Lord commanded. Aaron threw his staff down in front of Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a snake. 11 Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts: 12 Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs. 13 Yet Pharaoh’s heart became hard and he would not listen to them, just as the Lord had said.
EXODUS 8
6 So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land. 7 But the magicians did the same things by their secret arts; they also made frogs come up on the land of Egypt.
